Configure workday periods

Use the Workday Periods tab in the Planning Configuration utility to set the annual FTE hours. Setting the default number of workdays in each period is automated and tied to configured holidays in the Holidays tab.

This option is usually set during the initial system setup or annually, but the administrator may need to make changes.

To review workdays:

  1. In the RF Admin task pane under Setup, double-click Configuration Utility.

    NOTE: The Rolling Forecast Global Driver Management role is required for viewing these settings.

  2. Click the Workday Periods tab.

  3. To set the default standard work hours for your organization, in the Hours Settings section, select one of the following options from the Annual FTE Hours drop-down:

    • 2080

    • 2086 (default)

      NOTE: By default, the Hours in Period are set for a 2086 FTE. If you use 2080, you must change this setting.

  4. To view additional read-only tables for historical actuals, in the Workday Settings section, click the View Additional Date Detail. The following tables are displayed:

    • Days in Period
    • Hours in Period
    • Calendar Dates

  5. To hide the date detail tables, click Hide additional Date Detail.

  6. Click Save, and then in the confirmation dialog, click OK.
